Welcome to the new Huntington Hills Skating Club website.
This site is still not fully developed, but there are numerous enhancements already that we hope that you will appreciate. Here's a list of some of the new features that are presently available:
- Built-in volunteering sign-up calendar. (How much easier can it get to earn skater credits now1)
- More extensive explanations of the various skater programs
- Updated registration forms for all of the programs
- Dynamic Google calendar for all club events and skating sessions. You will be able to sync this to your personal Outlook, Google, etc calendar and also set-up reminders and alerts for you PC, Blackberry, IPhone or whatever.
Coming very soon... (sometime in the next few days)
- Online registration (Yeah, no more need to download the forms, print them out, fill them in by hand and either mail them in or drop them off at in person registration. All you need to do is fill out the online form, hit submit and mail us your cheque(s).)
In the not too distant future...
- Online payment that works with online registration. (It doesn't get any easier than this, you won't even have to get up off the couch to register you kid(s).)
- Easy online registration. We'll make use of personal information in our existing database to automatically fill-out most of the information on the online registration forms for you. No more need to develop repetitive strain injuries filling out the mountains of forms. If anything has changed form the previous year, just update it, select the programs specifics for the new season and taa daa, your done.
- Members online section with things such as:
- Free classified ads to sell skates, dress, etc
- Discussion Forums
- Online sign-up hotel bookings for out of town competitions
- Community Photo album
- Account status information. (i.e. skater credits, coaching/program fees, etc)
- Personal program history - record of tests passed, event results, etc
- HHSC shopping mall - purchase club merchandise such as jackets, hats, t-shirts, banquest tickets, etc
- Internal club news - event results, announcements, etc
- Download you tax receipts
